The muesli er made from pure ingredients, all full of super nutrients. We use cinnamon to regulate the blood sugar, which is great in the morning as it keeps your body stable and satisfied for longer.
1 tbl coconut oil
2 tbl maple syrup or agave syrup
2 tsp cinnamon
150 g jumbo oats (or quinoa flakes)
100 g almonds, chopped
100 g walnuts, chopped
100 g shredded coconut
100 g sunflower seeds
100 g sesame seeds
Optional: Dried fruits (e.g. goji berries, sultanas, apricots, acai berries)
Melt the coconut oil and syrup on a low heat till it’s liquid. Mix in the cinnamon.
Spread all other ingredients (except the dried fruits) on a baking tray with baking paper and pour over the oil mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Heat the oven to 170 degrees C. and put it in for approx. 10 minutes. Be careful not to leave it in for too long as it will burn.
Leave to cool and then mix in the dried fruits.
Store in an air-tight container when it’s cooled off.
