Homemade sugar-free marzipan

marzipan_sugarfreeThis recipe is so easy and the marzipan is super yummy!

5 large Medjoul dates
100 g ground almonds or almond flour
1/2 tsp almond extract

Soak Medjoul dates in warm water for an hour, then drain and remove pits.
Blend all ingredients thoroughly and they are ready to roll into small balls or a roll of marzipan you can cut from.

It keeps up to five days in the fridge.
