Welcome to The Ark
A natural healthy living shop and health clinic situated near the Western Cleddau river in the pretty market town of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
We are passionate about educating and supporting people interested in natural ways to live well.
Our customers know the importance of eating nutritious food, they care about where products are made and do what they can to protect the environment.
Proudly trading for more than 30 years, The Ark has been owned and managed since 2011 by Lise Matthews, a practitioner of the Bowen Technique for musculo-skeletal issues and a kinesiology specialist as part of The Nutrition Detectives.
Our healthy living shop
is bursting with natural goodies including food, complementary medicine, self-care and home brewing products. We are also proud to be the first retailer in Pembrokeshire to introduce zero waste refill stations for loose foods and cleaning essentials. This aligns with our mission to encourage a long term shift in buying behaviour to keep our planet happy.
Our health clinic
hosts a collective of professional practitioners who offer the best in complementary health care in a warm and caring environment. A wide range of therapies are available to help restore physical and emotional health and to help sustain a positive level of wellbeing that makes you smile.
